The Ashtabula County MHRS Board works with local behavioral health providers to provide a variety of mental health and substance use disorder treatment and recovery support services. Our local providers include:
The Board is also involved with many other local projects including: the Ashtabula County Common Pleas Drug Court; the Ashtabula County Ohio Supreme Court Statewide System Reform Project for infusing best practice in Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice and Behavioral Health; Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health treatment in the County Jail; Recovery Housing; Peer Recovery Supporters; Housing Grants; Suicide Prevention; Substance Use Prevention, including a SAMHSA Drug Free Communities Grant; LOSS Team; Community Corrections Board; Child Fatality Review Board; Senior Network, etc.
The MHRS Board also works to maintain and monitor the full continuum of care for substance use disorder treatment and recovery support services. This includes the development of materials to assist families, those individuals in recovery and those seeking treatment for opiate addictions. Resource Handbook
